Swinging Sixties: Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2015
Louis Vuitton's latest offering for Spring/Summer 2015 from designer Nicolas Ghesquiere (his second collection for Louis Vuitton) was overshadowed by its location: the new Louis Vuitton Foundation Art Museum and Cultural Center. At a cost of over 100 million Euros, the Frank Gehry-designed building has been compared to an iceberg or giant sailboat and took over a decade to complete and is decorated with "L's" and "V's". Even though the building has been branded as one of the most exciting and avant-garde Parisian projects in recent years, the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer collection was more on the Retro side...
