How Can We Help You?--Enjoying time with the "TWA Hostesses" Stevie and Sarah, at the TWA Hotel JFK Airport

Last Summer, I worked on Season 18 "Project Runway" on Bravo TV as a Consulting Producer. It was a lot of work filled with LONG hours and lots of drama and decision-making (part of the job!), but there were also lots of exciting location filming. The first of which was the actual PREMIERE Episode that we filmed for the First Challenge. You can go HERE to check out my BLOG on it!

TWA Flight Center-TWA Hotel, JFK Airport

We filmed at the iconic Eero Saarinen-designed TWA Flight Center at the JFK Airport, which has been restored and remade into....the TWA Hotel. The building itself is a MASTERPIECE of MidCentury/Neo-Futurism Architecture and Design, and naturally, I LOVE IT! I am a big fan of architecture and especially MidCentury design and in addition, I am also a big fan of anything regarding AIRPLANES and AIRLINE STYLE...

Here are photos I captured before--and after--filming our first episode introduction for Season 18 of "Project Runway":

Stevie Heptig and Sarah C. "The TWA Hostesesses" greeting travelers at the "TWA Hotel", JFK Airport

Stevie and Sarah were the "TWA Hostesses" and they played the part FABULOUSLY! Wearing vintage 70's uniforms from Valentino that were designed for the airline. They were both so sweet and hammed it up, just for me (I'd like to think!).
