Street Chic--Models in "Streetwear" designs from Season 19 "Project Runway" designers (L to R) Katie Kortman, Octavio Agular, and Prajee Oscar Jean-Baptiste--Episode 2 Season 19 Project Runway
In the second Episode of Season 19 "Project Runway", the Challenge was to design a STREETWEAR look. As we all know, Streetwear is a thriving and very important part of our fashion landscape with so many designers and brands being influenced by it. One can see the influence of Streetwear especially on high-end brands such as Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Versace to name but a few. As a result, naturally, it was an important design style that we wanted this season's designers to tackle.
Here are Behind-the-Scenes photos I took--as one of my many "unofficial duties" as Consulting Producer for the show--during the filming of this episode:
Designs-in-Progress Workroom Photos:
At the end of the first workroom day, we walked around to see the progress of each of the designers and I got the chance to snap photos, mainly so we (the producers) can see where they are at...but also to post in blogs like this! It's interesting since the following day, before the runway, things may change and so what you see here may be "a little different" than the final Runway outcome...
