Hellooooo Figure Skating Costume Fans! It's time for a new season and time for my "Ice Style" blogs! Progressive Skate America 2016 occurred this past weekend--the first of six ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating senior level invitational competitions--at the Sears Centre Arena in Chicago, Illinois USA.

So..., it's time to recap my Favorite --and Meh!" costumes. This post will deal with the LADIES and MEN and I will of course, talk about the PAIRS and ICE DANCE later. Let's see who got my FASHION attention:

"Room" actress Brie Larson wore this baby blue silk crepe draped gown from Atelier Versace. This gown was just featured in the most recent Atelier Versace Spring/Summer 2016 collection during last week's Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week shows. The collection was inspired by Athletics, the Rio Olympic Games and Sportif themes. The dress has a side front slit and diagonal draping across the bust and hips, and is embellished with sequined "knot" accents.



What do you guys think? Is this a Yeay or Nay?

WHAT: Atelier Versace Spring/Summer 2016. Donatella Versace showed an "athletic"-inspired collections with overt references to Sportif via the stirrup Figure Skating-like pants, straps with metal hooks, and sporty bomber track jackets. That was for day, and then evening went with the typical HOT HOT HOT slashed-to-there, slit-to-really-up-there dresses accompanied by lots of cutaways, sequined netting. Let your inner Sex Bomb come out with any of these Super-Sexy ensembles.
