WHAT: Dolce & Gabbana Spring/Summer 2019.


INSPIRATION: The theme of the show was "DNA", the unique "fingerprints" everyone has...in other words, everyone is unique and it's time to CELEBRATE INDIVIDUALITY and UNIQUENESS; Dolce & Gabbana said "each of us is the king or queen of our lives". Amen huney!






SEEN ON THE RUNWAY: Italian Diva Monica Bellucci, 90's Supermodel Eva Herzigova, 80's/early 90's Catwalk Supermodel Marpessa, Italian Film Royalty Isabella Rossellini, Former First Lady of France Carla Bruni, Model/Spokesperson Ashley Graham and many others strutted the runway in Dolce & Gabbana fabulousness including all the house codes of polka dot, black lace, tiered ruffles, brocade suitings, sequined and appliqued embroidered masterpieces. The show was a runway version of a passeggiata--or when Italians stroll onto the streets early in the evening to see and be seen while heading to dinner or aperitivos.

WHAT: Dolce & Gabbana Fall/Winter 2018. Drones opened the show, holding mini purses.

INSPIRATION: The designers called this their “Fashion Devotion” collection. Fashion Queens, Vatican City Princesses. The collection was made of everything from exquisitely crafted Vatican City brocades and cut velvet in green, Cardinal red, Venetian pink, and embroidery.



SEEN ON THE RUNWAY: Elaborate; heavily decorated; lots of jacquard, brocades; Queen for a Fashion Day; Slogan T-shirts; Instagram-ready sunglasses.

WHAT: Dolce & Gabbana Menswear Fall/Winter 2017. Designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana invited and flew out a bunch of YouTube and Instagram Millenial Influencers and Stars--from Cameron Dallas, Luka Sabbat, Sergio Carvajal, Cindy Crawford's son Presley Gerber, Jude Law's son Gafferty Law, Steve Harvey's stepdaughter Lori Harvey...to the Stallone daughters Sophia and Sistine, Sofia Richie and many others. The show's theme: Millenial Influencers Princes and Princesses.

TRENDS: Pajama suits, Millenial Hugh Hefners, brocade jackets, animal parkas, leopard backpacks, crown hats, regal canines themes, oversized parkas, fur bombers, superskinny ties, cropped-pants suits, velvet crest slippers

COLORS: Gold, red, black, prints, mustard yellow, copper, burgundy.
