If you've been keeping up with my BLOG here, you may know it is FIDM 3 Days of Fashion Summer Program time and I have had the honor as the college's Official Spokesperson, to make "Special Appearances" at all the four Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising/FIDM campuses, giving my "How I got to where I got" lecture, showing some of my designs and having fun meet & greets! I have already been to FIDM San Diego's 3 Days of Fashion (click HERE) as well as FIDM LA (HERE), so now it was time for FIDM Orange County.

Last week was the beginning of the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising/FIDM "3 Days of Fashion" Summer Program taking place at all the College's four campuses. Every Summer, FIDM hold the "3 Days of Fashion" program which provides high school students a "window" into having a great career in Fashion Design, Fashion Styling, Marketing, Social Media, Fashion Buying and Merchandising with workshops involving Draping, Concept to Consumer, Creating a Promotional Campaign, Sketching among others.

As the official spokesperson for the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising/FIDM--and as former student, instructor and Grad, I love making Special Guest appearances at all the four campuses at the end of the "3 Days of Fashion". I talk about what it was like for me to attend FIDM, my life after FIDM and give my own 'Nick Tips" on having a successful career in the Fashion Industry. oh and I also MC a "capsule" Fashion Show of my designs.

"3 Days of Fashion" is an annual "Summer Fashion Camp" for high school students--mostly Juniors and Seniors--where they get to spend three days doing various seminars and workshops including Draping, Styling, Visual Communications, Sketching, highlighting all the wonderful majors FIDM has to offer and getting students interested in possibly attending the College. I am honored to always make a "Special Appearance" on the final "Graduation" day of the "3 Days of Fashion" at all the four FIDM campuses.
