Rosamund Pike in Christian Dior Haute Couture Spring 2014
"Gone Girl" actress Rosamund Pike wore this midnight blue hi-lo gown from Christian Dior Haute Couture Spring 2014 collection. The gown featured hand applied rosettes over a silk organza base. All this applique is meticulously done for hundreds if not thousands of hours in the Dior Atelier and therefore, a gown like this could cost in the high five figures. In the original runway version, you can see that the front didn't have a lining yet for Rosamund, it was added. To be honest, it looks a bit odd with the lining. Also, I'm not sure if this shape was flattering for her. I know she just gave birth and so she must be a bit conscious of her body but yet at the 2015 Golden Globes, she had no problem showing a lot of the figure off.
Also, I'm not a fan of the hair. It looks a bit drippy.
