Capelet and Watteau Queens: Zuhair Muard Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2015

The Look: Zuhair Muard's Spring/Summer 2015 Haute Couture collection was inspired by water. The water "theme" was displayed in every Haute Fashion manner with cascading volants, Watteau backs that looked like waterfalls, rippling coral-like embroidery, wave-like pleating and gathering, swimsuit bodices under gowns, frothy tulle and so on.

Lots of Beirut Multimillionaire clients were in attendance and applauded the looks. I also couldn't help but think that it was like looking into Jennifer Lopez's closet. A very expensive closet where every gown and cocktail dress is hand made and can cost a hefty 6 figures. If I was an A-List actress looking for the perfect red carpet stunner for the Academy Awards, I would send Zuhair Murad's PR team a bunch of flowers and see if they could reciprocate with lending a free $150,000 worth gown. Pronto. Oh, and the Final Wedding Gown measured 5 meters by 5 meters. Check out the video at the end of the post.
