This past Monday were the 70th Annual Emmy Awards. I had the pleasure of bringing my fashion expertise to KTLA's "Live From The Emmys" Show as a Red Carpet Expert and Fashion Design Co-Chair of FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising.

My day began very, very...VERY early at 6AM doing some LIVE TV Segments--for the incomparable Gayle Anderson of the KTLA Morning News...

Nick Verreos and KTLA's Gayle Anderson at FIDM Museum--Gayle Anderson stooped by FIDM Museum to cover the fabulous 12th Annual Outstanding Art of Television Costume Design Exhibition. The Exhibition pays tribute to Television Costume Design featuring over 100 Costumes from 24 TV Shows, including NINE Emmy Award-Nominated (and now Emmy Award-winning!) Costumes.

Following the FIDM Museum filming, I changed my tuxedo and rushed over to the Microsoft Theater in Downtown Los Angeles to do my Red Carpet Expert Commentating for KTLA's "Live From The Emmys" coverage...

I watched the 2018 Primetime Emmys Red Carpet (it was actually gold colored) from the KTLA News "Emmys" headquarter vans located offsite near the Microsoft Theater and then, I went over to what was called the "Winners Circle"--an area adjacent to the 2018 Primetime Emmy Awards, where the winners would be rushed in to get their actual Emmys Statuette as well as greet the world's media...
