In Episode 8 of Season 22 "Project Runway", the designers were tasked with creating "Runway-worthy" looks inspired by different dance styles, including Salsa, Jazz, Samba, Waltz, Quickstep, Jive and Paso Doble. They were paired with iconic "Dancing with the Stars" Pros Val Chmerkovskiy, Brandon Armstrong, Jenna Johnson Chmerkovskiy, Ezra Sosa, Emma Slater, Britt Stewart, and Alan Bersten to be their models.

The episode was considered this season's "Real Client" (ish) Challenge and, most importantly, the designers were to NOT create costumes for these famous dancers but FASHION inspired by the dance styles they received as inspiration.
