Are you ready to get a little "Rock & Roll"? Well, in the LATEST EPISODE of "Project Runway Rewind" of "The Fashion Daddies" Podcast, we discuss Episode 4 from Season One: Designing a Look for a "rising" Rock & Roll Star. The challenge was to create a total head-to-toe makeover look for "up & coming" singer Sarah Hudson (up & coming in 2004!)...

Singer/Songwriter Sarah Hudson, on "Project Runway" Season One, Episode 4

The challenge was titled "A Collaboration" because Sarah picked only THREE of the nine designers to design the look, while the other designers were split up into teams to help create the three main designers' looks.

The Three Designers chosen were Jay McCarroll, Kevin Johnn, and Austin Scarlett - "Project Runway" Season One, Episode 4

Even though there were only THREE designs in this episode... there was A LOT of DRAMA! Lots of fans/viewers of the latest seasons of "Project Runway" complain about them having "too much drama!" and how they want to see "more design...less drama!". However, looking back at this FIRST SEASON, this episode in particular was MOSTLY drama (like more than half of the episode!):

Oh yeah, and then there were the Designs:

Jay McCarroll (with his "assistants" Kara Saun and Robert Plotkin) - His Cyndi Lauper-adjacent design was "Safe" and very good

Winner - Kevin Johnn's Design (with assistants Nora Caliguri and Alexandra Vidal) was very John Galliano-like, fun, and stage-effective

The Bottom: Austin Scarlett's "Little Bo Peep-meets-Marie Antoinette - While he was the Chief Designer, he didn't go home
