Statuesque Australian actress Nicole Kidman wore a nude-colored silk charmeuse gown from the House of Nina Ricci by Peter Copping. Copping replaced Olivier Theyskens after he was unceremoniously "let go" by Puig, his bosses. Copping is a former assistant to Marc Jacobs at Louis Vuitton and this is his first collection. The gown is VERY 1930's with its cowl neckline and bias-cut and reminds me of a gown from a TCM movie from the 1930's that an actress such as Claudette Colbert would wear. It also looks like a gown I would design; in other words: Love it! I would have just removed a few of those side bows...for sure.
