Model Icon Carmen Dell'Orefice ends the Stephane Rolland Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2013 Runway Show

The Look: Black and white-clad Goddesses. Exquisitely tailored ensembles, gowns. Jumpsuits are THE item for Spring 2013. Architectural, sculptural, asymmetrical draping, folding--the "Rolland" imprint. Interesting Transparency vs. Solids in gowns (seen at Dior Haute Couture Spring 2013 as well). The Collection SCREAMS Sheikha Mozah of Qatar, especially the covered-up, built-in cap looks in the beginning.

The Look: Couture Debutantes need party dresses and Giambattista is your man! Lots of Cocktails dresses, fabulously embellished coats and tulle over satin. Flower and animal prints in sumptuous silks. High-low dresses were big. Colors: black, white, pinks, and yes, "highlighter" yellow (a popular color this season also seen at Dior Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2013). My favorite looks were the Watteau-back, mini, long-sleeve dresses: DIVINE.
