 Michelle Dockery in Oscar de la Renta Spring 2013: "Downton Abbey" actress Michelle Dockery wore this beautiful gold paillettes over a putty silver-colored silk satin strapless ball gown from the Oscar de la Renta Spring 2013 collection, which means it's Almost Vintage (in Red Carpet years!). LOL!

It's a classic de la Renta-style gown (secretly co-designed by John Galliano by the way) and is very on-trend with the slight high-lo hem and on trend with the red carpet in that...it's a BALL GOWN! Now, speaking of hems, notice the difference in hem length in the front on 5' 8" Michelle vs. 6' 1" tall Amazonian supermodel Karlie Kloss?
