Dakota Johnson in Custom Saint Laurent--2015 Academy Awards
Dakota Johnson wore a red column Custom Saint Laurent gown. The one shoulder gown featured a sequined trim and draped and pleated top section, the straight skirt had a high side slit. She looked modern and quite elegant. This gown--while quite sexy-licious and pretty has NOTHING to do with what one sees on the Saint Laurent by Hedi Slimane Paris runways. This seems to be quite the trend for a lot of these fashion shows (Prada, Calvin Klein, etc). I don't "get it" why they would create these red carpet custom gowns that in fact have little to do with the brand but oh well, that's just me...
