As part of my Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising/FIDM "3 Days of Fashion" Appearance Tour, I had already been at FIDM Main Campus in LA (Click HERE for that BLOG), FIDM San Diego (Click HERE for that BLOG), and now it was time for FIDM San Francisco!

Since I spent some of my early childhood, as a teenager--after growing up in Venezuela--in the San Francisco Bay Area, it's always a treat to come back. The city has changed A LOT (OMG the real estate prices!) but I always LOVE walking around Union Square since it takes me back to the times my mom would bring me shopping with her to those now-gone fabulous department stores like I. Magnin.

I arrived the day of my event, checked in to my hotel, and soon enough it was time to grab my bag full of NIKOLAKI gowns I had brought with me from Los Angeles to show the students. On the way to the FIDM San Francisco campus, I got a little "sightseeing" out of the way, taking quick selfies of course! But finally, I got to the campus and it was time for my "Special Appearance" and fashion presentation of my NIKOLAKI gowns. Here are some photos:

Signed Book--As part of the prizes some of the students won at FIDM San Francisco's "3 Days of Fashion", they received copies of one of my books "The Pageant Coloring Book" featuring 25 fabulous gown sketches that kids (and adults!) can color as well as fashion croquis to help them draw their own designs. Naturally, I signed every copy for them--FIDM San Francisco "3 Days of Fashion" 2018

Time for my NIKOLAKI Gown Presentation: I was excited to be joined by a model named Lulu from San Francisco's Look Modeling Agency who would exquisitely model my gowns...first up was a One Shoulder Coral Colored Draped Jersey dress...
