This past weekend was the OPENING NIGHT PARTY for the 27th Annual Art of Motion Picture Costume Design Exhibition at FIDM Museum. This is the twenty-seventh year this fabulous exhibition celebrates Motion Picture Costume Design and more notably, the Academy Award Nominees for Best Costume Design.
The Queens--Nick Verreos with "Bohemian Rhapsody" costumes from Costume Designer Julian Day--FIDM Museum 27th Annual Art of Motion Picture Costume Design Exhibition, FIDM Museum, The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising/FIDM Los Angeles California
There are over 100 costumes from 25+ films featured in the exhibition, including the FIVE Oscar Nominees which are "Black Panther", "The Ballad of Buster Scruggs", "The Favourite", "Mary Queen of Scots" and "Mary Poppins Returns". Besides these nominees, the exhibition has many other costumes from movies such as "Bohemian Rhapsody", "Crazy Rich Asians", "On The Basis of Sex" and many, many more.
