The Fashion Daddies Podcast: Olympics Edition-And the Best Men's and Pairs Costumes Medals Go To...

In our LATEST "The Fashion Daddies" PODCAST, we recap the recent 2026 Winter Olympics Men's Gold Medal Finals and the Pairs. But while we talk a little bit about the TRAUMATIC and drama-filled Men's Final (Oh, Ilia!) as well as the Pairs (they had their issues too, unfortunately!), we are here for the COSTUMES!

The Top Costume Boys: (L to R) Donovan Carillo (Mexico), Ilia Malinin (USA)

Some of our favorites from the Men's Final were Donovan Carillo from Mexico (always a showman!), and his "Hip Hip Chin Chin" costume from Atlanta-based Costume Designer Brad Griffies, as well as his sexy "Elvis" one for his Free Skate. Needless to say, we had to bow down to the "Quad God" Ilia Malinin of the USA and his costumes. Throughout the season, we have talked about how these costumes have been our TOP favorites on Ilia, and well, you can guess what Costume Medal we gave him, and his Costume Designer, Satomi Ito.

But, we also wanted to highlight one of our FAVE Figure Skating Couture Men, and that was...
Blouse God: Juhnwan Cha from the Republic of Korea, and his GORGEOUS costumes (THE BLOUSES!), designed by Korean Designer Kyongsool Bae

Lastly, we discussed our favorite costumes from the PAIRS Final, which naturally included the (allegedly) $100,000 costing handmade skating couture from Oscar de la Renta for Canadian Pairs skater Deanna Stellato-Dudek, as well as the German Pair of Minerva Fabienne Hase and Nikita Volodin, who especially looked CALIENTE in their Tango-inspired Short Program costumes.
