WHO WORE WHAT?.....19th Annual SAG Awards: Anne Hathaway in Giambattista Valli Couture

Anne Hathaway in Giambattista Valli Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2013: Wow! you know the Red Carpet is out of control when actresses are wearing $50,000 Haute Couture Gowns to the SAG Awards! Dresses that used to be reserved for the Academy Awards are now up for grabs for ANY Awards Show.

While I love Anne and Giambattista Valli, I am not 100% sold on the combination of this actress in this dress. This is another Haute Couture dress that walked the runway just last week and I think that Rachel Zoe might have gotten a bit carried away in putting this dress on Hathaway.

I'm hoping it looks better "in motion" while she is on stage tonight....What do you think?

Where do I begin! Anne Hathaway was an Epic Fashion Fail disaster in that gorgeous Giambatissa Vialli couture gown. At $50,000 this TEA LENGTH gown made her look as if she was a 9yr old playing dress up in mommy's dress.

Let's use the star system for grading. Five stars with 1 being a fail, to 5 being perfection. " ☆☆☆☆☆"

If she was trying to channel Audrey Hepburn with that horrendous blind barber haircut - FAIL ☆

Posture counts - perhaps she was starving and about to fall over? ☆

Hathaway may have won for best supporting actress - btw, have we become so politically challenged that they're all now referred to as "actor?" But, I digress.

I could go on and on, but let's just finish here: What's "up" with the breast binding look? Less than flattering, and on this dress which requires perfect measurements which fall under the "hourglass" figure, Hathaway gets a ZERO.

The "Dark Night" not only didn't rise, but sank to a well deserved Zero. This gown should have gone underground. It's a shame that such a beautiful dress went into the "Bjork" Swan Twisted Neck syndrome.

Let's take a look at Julianne Moore's Chanel gown. First and foremost, we know WHY she received the SAG award - perhaps a last minute decision once she arrived.

I LOVE Chanel, but seriously ... I have better looking soft linen dishcloths. Perhaps it was Channel, otherwise add a blacklight, swab the black posies (on the dress, not the SAG) with glow in the dark black velvet and you've now been taken to dorm rooms of the70's. Both she and the gown get a negative ☆.
