NIKOLAKI.....Katy Perry wearing NIKOLAKI: People.com, InStyle.com

Katy Love...
I was so excited when THE ONE and ONLY Katy Perry wore our NIKOLAKI lilac sequined silk chiffon one-shoulder cocktail dress to her PURR Fragrance Launch in Mexico City this past weekend that well, it was 'icing on the cake" to see some sites give some "Nikolaki-Katy Perry" Shout Out's. First, InStyle.com, one of my FAVE sites has THIS, and also...
People Magazine's site did a fun "Three Dresses In One Day" Poll. Just so you are on the "up-and-up": Miss Katy actually wore THREE Dresses for the Launch (Outfit-change DIVA!). Below is the site's Headline:

Three Dresses, One Day: Which of Katy Perry's Purple Sparklers is Your Favorite?

PROJECT RUNWAY.....Nick Dishes on Project Runway Season Three Finale

Sorry for the late posting this week. I have been busy, busy, busy!! I spent the early part of the week at an appearance in Seattle (more on that later), and somehow still managed to write two articles for people.com --"Uncle Nick's Top Five Moments" of Season 3 plus my final weekly recap. I also had my own Finale drama in Seattle since Bravo/NBC sent the episode there for me to take a look at before writing my recap. I will probably write about it for my new blog on BravoTv.com . I actually liked the Finale because it was more about the clothes and less about the drama. However, the whole Jeffrey accusations , I felt seemed to be "swept under the rug" a little bit, but in the end, he made it to become the winner. His , admittedly, was the most "forward" collection. I felt, in my eyes, Uli's was the best. I love her design aesthetic, Uli's girl is the same girl who would buy my dresses. We think alike--maybe I was an East German girl in my past life! PROJECT RUNWAY.....People.com: Project Runway Reunion Special

REUNION SPECIAL- PEOPLE.COM RECAP Boy, what a show last night! From last week's previews, I knew there was going to be drama, but I didn't realize how much! These Project Runway Reunions are always a doozy: First Season had one of the designers actually leaving the Reunion, after getting drunk and spilling wine all over the floor; Last Season, there was the bringing out of the models to discuss Zulema's "Walk Off" , as well as Guadeloupe's 5 Cosmos-later banter. What you guys didn't see is that she actually FELL OFF the stool she was sitting on, almost hitting the designers that were sitting next to her, as well as in front of her!!! That's when Santino remarked,"Can I have what they are having?" It looks like the producers must have skipped the pre-reunion cocktails this time around--even though some of the designers look like they needed it! Keith thought he was Oliver Stone with his "conspiracy" theories of the producers being against him, Vincent insulted all the designers, calling them amateur, as well as showing his "serious ugly" side when the producers did not clean his shirts. Poor Michael Rucker (PR hottie producer) had to deal with that!! Jeffrey and Angela still got unresolved issues, and as Robert suggested, they need to get it "over and done with" and start dating!! Weird sexual tension there. The fun clips were good, and by the way, Bradley looked very cute all clean-cut and, were those braces on Michael?? Read my recap on People.com HERE, hope you enjoy it!

PROJECT RUNWAY.....Project Runway Recaps People.com: Mothers Against Jeffrey

People.com: Mothers Against Jeffrey This Wednesday, I sat down, with my chips and guacamole, notepad and pen in hand, ready to watch this week's episode of "Project Runway" and I almost could not control myself from hurling an avocado-covered bowl at the TV! No, but seriously: what an episode! Two in a row! First , Alison getting booted, then Jeffrey calling someone's mom a "Crazy B****"!! Am I watching MTV's "Real World Key West" or "Project Runway"? I actually loved the challenge and thought it was one of the best ones, especially showcasing large size and real-life fashion issues instead of having to design and create something for a 5'11 , size 2 Amazonian model. I am sure that this episode will be scandalous and cause polarizing comments such as "Jeffrey is Crazy!" and "Angela's Mom is Insecure!", and I cannot wait for the "I am sure it didn't happen that way...it was the editing..." Stay tuned, I am sure next week, the mud-slinging between Jeffrey and Angela will continue. Hopefully, though the fashion will overshadow the overwrought drama. Read my recap of the entire episode HERE

PROJECT RUNWAY.....Project Runway Recaps People.com: Alison is Gone!

Shocker! Shocker! Shocker! In the last epidose of Season 3 of "Project Runway", I was shocked that pretty Alison got the boot instead of Vincent, but then again, I wasn't. Remember, I am an alum of "Project Runway" and now know a thing or two about the mechanisms of a "Reality Show" industry and about , shall I say , "sacrificial lambs". I was most surprised by Kayne's "What Was He Thinking" outfit though. But , again , I really felt for all the designers because this was that "out of your comfort zone" challenge that can make your brain freeze. It happened to me during last Season's "Plant/Flower" challenge. It was a fun and exciting episode , however. I am still amazed at Tim Gunn's exceptional aplomb, whether he is on the dirty floor of the Atlas Apartments or wearing the latest in "Recycable" ensembles. Hope that you guys are enjoying my recaps.
